DEKA & HYROX Training

In an ever evolving world of fitness, competition brings exciting and new challenges. This is why we offer specialized training for the HYROX and DEKA. These two competitions combine various elements such as running, functional exercises and obstacle course challenges to test an individuals’ overall fitness level. We create a balanced approach that builds strength, endurance, power, and grit needed for these races.

DEKA

Created by the company behind Spartan Races, this competition includes 10 different fitness zones or “stations” that can be completed with varying amounts of running in between, such as the DEKA Strong (no running), DEKA Mile (1-mile total run), or DEAK Fit (5k total run).

HYROX

A high-intensity competition that comprises eight 1km runs interspersed with various function workouts for an overall distance of 8km. It is designed to test very facet of physical strength and stamina. With a tiered format, people from all walks of life can take on the challenge.

Obstacle Course Training

Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) is a hybrid sport that combines running with overcoming a wide range of physical obstacles. It requires a mix of physical and mental skills, including strength, endurance, coordination, agility, and mental toughness. OCR focuses on performance; you must complete each obstacle successfully, race against the clock, and follow strict rules around technique, retries, and penalties. Our specific OCR training will include a blend of running, strength and endurance training, as well as obstacle-specific skill work, focusing on areas such as grip strength, pull-ups, climbing, and jumping. Circuit training and HIIT training will be incorporated to build a well-rounded fitness profile for overcoming a variety of obstacles quickly and efficiently.

Have you received a fitness check-up? Similar to your annual physical, we offer fitness and wellness screens that will help you pinpoint muscular patterns and imbalances that may lead to pain or injury. Through evaluations of strength, flexibility, balance and stability we can determine your current level of physical fitness. From here, a specific exercise plan is created that will assist in decreasing your risk of injury and pain, as well as the avoidance of medication and surgery even. Assessments may include:
